Research Fellow: sex steroid regulation of thymic involution - University of Edinburgh

The Blackburn laboratory at the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine, University of Edinburgh, seeks a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on a project investigating the molecular and cellular basis of degeneration of the thymus, and in particular how this process is regulated by sex steroid signalling.

The focus of the project is to design rational strategies for therapeutic regeneration or replacement of thymus function, and it will use an integrated approach encompassing mouse genetics and genomics, with techniques including deep sequencing and in-vivo conditional gene ablation.
